Riley Mocabee is an audio engineer with a passion for sound and a dedication to excellence. Growing up in a small town with limited musical opportunities, Riley discovered a love for audio recording as a teenager while experimenting with his own projects. After serving in the Navy, he began a career in audio-visual and live sound, while pursuing a degree in music production from Berklee College of Music.

 

With a knack for operating various sound boards and audio-visual equipment, Riley quickly rose through the ranks, transitioning from an entry-level technician to a lead technician and eventually earning the title of Audio Specialist. His career highlights include securing a lateral promotion an an audio specialist at one of the largest event spaces on the western seaboard.

 

Riley approaches his work with a philosophy of simplicity and reliance on fundamentals. Believing in a “less is more” approach, he systematically addresses issues, prioritizing efficiency over complexity.

 

Certified by Audinate and Shure, Riley actively pursues additional certifications to enhance his skills and advance his career. Despite the demanding nature of his field, he takes opportunities to further his ongoing recording projects, fueled by his passion for music production.

 

Looking ahead, Riley aims to further specialize in audio engineering and pursue project management roles, leveraging his expertise and experience to drive success in the industry.
